CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - A Hamilton County school bus driver has been accused of taking a 15-year-old female student to a motel room and raping her.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press reports (https://bit.ly/1DPWpFA ) that 34-year-old Alexander Rodriguez has been charged with rape.

Authorities say the girl told investigators that she boarded the bus after school Wednesday, but instead of going home, she rode with Rodriguez to the garage where busses are kept, and then he drove her to a motel.

Police records say the teen told investigators that he forced himself on her when they got into the motel room, in spite of the fact that she repeatedly told him no.

Rodriguez is being held in the Hamilton County Jail in lieu of $350,000 bail. Court records do not list an attorney for him.
