SAYVILLE, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a helicopter pilot concerned over the weather touched down on a Long Island street.

They say the pilot landed on Browns River Road in Sayville around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday.

The road is not heavily populated and there were no injuries.

Police say there was a light rain and fog at the time.

Newsday (https://nwsdy.li/1G0X2hR ) says records show that the helicopter was owned by the Department of Homeland Security.
