ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - The Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District again closed four schools Thursday because of continuing poor road conditions.

Anchorage television station KTUU (https://is.gd/2y2dZy ) reports the school district announced the same schools that were closed Wednesday also are closed Thursday. The schools are Su Valley Junior/Senior High School, and Willow, Talkeetna and Trapper Creek elementary schools.

The school district says all other schools are open. It says on its website that parents should follow school calendars for children who attend nontraditional schools.

The school district says the start of a basketball tournament at Su Valley will be delayed two hours. The first game is now set to begin at 11 a.m. Thursday.
