LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A guardrail repair project on U.S. Highway 77 will force the temporary closure of an Interstate 80 exit on the west side of Lincoln.

The Nebraska Department says the project is scheduled to begin Friday and take a day.

The I-80 eastbound ramp will be closed at Reference Post 397 to southbound U.S. Highway 77. The detour will begin at I-80 Interchange 395. Message boards will be used to direct motorists along the detour.
