TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Atlantic City and Trenton have new daily record low temperatures.

The New Jersey cities broke their all-time lows for March 6 early Friday.

In Atlantic City, the low of 8 degrees was 2 degrees below the previous daily record set in 1888.

The record that fell in Trenton was even older. The temperature of 6 degrees was lower than the old record of 7, set in 1872.

The high in Trenton was expected to hit 20 degrees on Friday.
