BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Burlington Police are seeking a suspect who robbed a supermarket in the Vermont city’s New North End.

Police say the robber approached the pharmacist at the Hannaford Supermarket at about 8 p.m. Wednesday and demanded drugs.

WCAX-TV reports the suspect implied he had a weapon but did not show one. He fled with a partially filled bottle of drugs.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-30s, 5-feet 10-inches to 6-feet tall with a large build.

The suspect was wearing a dark green sweat shirt, blue medical gloves and a mask.
