LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say a man was killed elsewhere before being dumped off a dirt road southwest of Las Vegas.

Clark County coroner’s office identified the man Friday as 23-year-old Delroy Ashton.

Authorities say they responded just before noon on Thursday to a call that a body had been found south of State Route 160 near the unincorporated town of Sandy Valley on the southwest border of Nevada.

The coroner hasn’t determined a cause of death yet.

Police are investigating a motive and no suspects have been identified.
