WASHINGTON (AP) - Some transit agencies are modifying service in the mid-Atlantic region in the icy wake of a late-season snowstorm.

Maryland officials are operating commuter bus service on a lighter schedule Friday and some bus routes in the Baltimore area were diverted and delayed. There is no service on MARC’s Camden or Brunswick lines, but the Penn line is operating on a lighter schedule.

Virginia Railway Express service is also operating on a light schedule. Amtrak is running fewer Northeast Corridor trains.

In the Washington region, Metro resumed modified bus service early Friday after suspending service overnight. MetroAccess paratransit service is expected to be suspended until at least noon Friday.

In Delaware, most DART bus service was operating, but officials warned of delays.
