PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - The lull in big snowstorms in New Hampshire has allowed the Department of Transportation to do some bridge cleanup work.

Two southbound lanes were closed overnight on the Interstate 95 Piscataqua River Bridge in Portsmouth for winter maintenance work.

Snow was being removed along the shoulder and against a barrier. The work was expected to be completed early Friday. Drivers were guided through the work zone through one southbound lane via signs and traffic cones.
