MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Gabbie Bohl and Sheyenne Schmidt had 16 points apiece as Bishop Ryan defeated previously unbeaten Kindred 68-52 Saturday for their third straight North Dakota Class B girls basketball title.

The Lions equaled the record of three straight titles by Bottineau (2006-08). They have won 83 straight games against Class B teams.

Hannah Stewart added 15 points, nine rebounds and four assists and Maddie Wald had 14 points for Ryan, which shot 56 percent from the field. Bohl led all players with 10 rebounds.

Kindred (26-1) scored 16 points in the first quarter then 16 over the next 15 minutes as the Lions (26-1) stretched their lead to 20 points. Kindred led for just 29 seconds of the game.

Alexandra Erickson led Kindred with 13 points and Alexis Piatz added 12.
