NISKAYUNA, N.Y. (AP) - The GE Global Research Center is hosting a student science and math competition.
The General Electric facility in suburban Niskayuna near Schenectady will host 30 teams from middle and high schools on Saturday for a qualifying round of the National Science Bowl. Winning teams will represent Capital District at the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C. starting April 30.
The Science Bowl is a nationwide science and math competition.
About 630 students, coaches and volunteers are expected to attend the local competition Saturday.
