HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) - An official says a suspect featured as a wanted man on a southwest Ohio sheriff’s Facebook page left a comment on the post and eventually turned himself in.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office highlighted 21-year-old Andrew Marcum in a “warrant of the week” post on its Facebook page recently, saying he was wanted for “dabbling in” crimes including abduction and assault.

The sheriff’s office says Marcum left a comment that said: “I ain’t tripping half of them don’t even know me.” What he meant wasn’t clear.

The sheriff’s office replied: “If you could stop by the sheriff’s office, that’d be great.”

Sheriff’s Sgt. Melissa Gerhardt confirms Marcus did just that. He turned himself in Tuesday. He was jailed with no bond. Records didn’t indicate if he had an attorney.
