PITTSBURGH (AP) - Police in western Pennsylvania say a man was shot during a home invasion in Pittsburgh.

Officers were called to the Crafton Heights home at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday, where they found an 18-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators say two males and a female had knocked at the door and entered the home. One was armed with a handgun, and the victim was shot.

Police initially believed that only two of the intruders had fled, but a search of the residence by SWAT team officers did not turn up a third person.

Police said the 18-year-old was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
