AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Austin police say a man arrested for a four-day robbery spree has told police he’s responsible for at least six holdups.

In each of the heists, police say 26-year-old Gai Won approached the cash register at the business pretending to buy something, then pulled a long-barrel BB gun from a bag.

When he tried doing that at a Starbucks store Friday morning in Austin, two customers wrestled him to the ground.

The Austin American-Statesman reports (https://atxne.ws/1GeR39a ) Won is charged with six counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated assault for hitting one of the coffee shop customers with the gun.

He’s being held in the Travis County Jail without bond. Records also show he’s also being held on an immigration detainer.
