PHOENIX (AP) - Royce Woolridge scored 18 of his season-high 28 in second half to help Grand Canyon beat hot-shooting Seattle 83-70 on Saturday night.

Woolridge, a senior transfer from Washington State, made 8 of 10 field goals - including 2 of 3 from 3-point range - and 10 of 13 free throws.

Joshua Braun added 16 points Daniel Alexander scored 11 for Grand Canyon (17-14, 8-8 Western Athletic Conference).

Jadon Cohee’s jumper gave Seattle (14-4, 7-7) a 45-44 lead with 15 minutes left, but Woolridge scored all of his second-half points from there, including 10 in the final 3:22, to help the Antelopes pull away.

The Redhawks made more field goals (27) and more 3-pointers (eight) than Grand Canyon (22 and 6), but made just 8 of 15 free throws while GCU hit 33 of 40 from the stripe.

Isiah Umipig scored 23 and Jarell Flora 20 for Seattle.
