ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - An Albuquerque house fire resulted in the deaths of at least six cats.

The Fire Department says no humans were injured in the fire Sunday.

Firefighters who entered the home found it full of trash and belongings.

Apart from the cats which died, five others were taken to a vet for treatment of smoke inhalation.

Cause of the fire is under investigation.

It started in the kitchen area and firefighters kept it from spreading beyond that part of the home.
