LAS VEGAS (AP) - Court officials say the man involved in a high-speed wreck that killed two women has been denied bail.
The 22-year-old Henderson man, Seong Mo Lee, faces felony driving under the influence charges following a March 5 crash at Boulder Highway and Russell Road.
The Clark County Coroner’s office identified the victims as 17-year-old Kamesha Gilmore and 18-year-old Gabriell Thomas. Both were from Las Vegas and died of blunt force trauma in a collision.
At a court hearing Monday, Lee was ordered held without bail and is expected back in court on Friday.
Police say the two women in a Nissan Versa died when it was hit while making a U-turn by a Mercedes-Benz E350 sedan driven by Lee.
The impact pushed the Nissan more than 100 yards down Boulder Highway.
