HURRICANE, Utah (AP) - Police say a man has walked away uninjured after crash-landing a small plane in southern Utah.
Authorities say the man lost control of the single-engine craft while trying to land at the airport in Hurricane on Monday afternoon.
Hurricane Police Sgt. Brandon Buell says the pilot was the only person on board, and wasn’t hurt in the crash. His name was not immediately released.
The Spectrum of St. George reports (https://bit.ly/18wjG6s) authorities closed the airport after the incident.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
