NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man during a private party being held at a western New York bar.

Police in the city of Niagara Falls tell local media that Franchot Wallace of Niagara Falls was shot twice in the back around 2:30 a.m. Saturday inside 3M’s Club. He was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where he was declared dead.

Police say they have no suspects in the shooting.

Friends and family held a prayer service in front of the bar Sunday evening. Some members of the community are asking city leaders to shut down the club.
