ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Police are investigating a fiery crash that has left one person dead in Rochester.

Authorities say it happened at about 1:30 a.m. Friday at an intersection near the city’s border with the town of Greece.

Police say the car crashed into a transformer, flipped over and caught fire.

Rochester firefighters extinguished the blaze, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities haven’t identified the victim.
