ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - The Alaska Department of Law has picked a replacement for Anchorage District Attorney Sharon Marshall.

The Alaska Dispatch News (https://bit.ly/1QQMEkb), an Anchorage newspaper, reports Deputy District Attorney Clint Campion will replace Marshall, who is leaving the office Friday.

Marshall was appointed in 2012 to manage prosecutors in Alaska’s busiest court. She’s been a prosecutor for more than 25 years, including 14 in Anchorage.

Campion was hired in 2008 as a felony trial prosecutor in the violent crimes and property crimes units. He was appointed deputy district attorney two years ago.
