FORT LEE, N.J. (AP) - Time for some more traffic problems at the George Washington Bridge.

The Port Authority says overnight lane closures on the bridge’s upper deck will resume Monday, leading to significant delays.

Lane closures for a steel deck improvement project will last for 12 weeks.

Three of the four upper level lanes will be closed in either direction Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, and Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. the following morning.

Cars should use the lower level to avoid delays.

Drivers are urged to check electronic signs on the approach route, which will provide the latest travel times across the upper and lower levels.

Motorists should also consider seeking an alternate route.
