GRANADA, Spain (AP) - Spanish league struggler Granada has changed coaches for the third time this season with the club facing relegation.

Granada fired Abel Resino and hired Jose Sandoval to replace him on Friday.

Resino had taken over from Joaquin Caparros in January.

Eight rounds without a win has left Granada in second-to-last place and six points from safety with four games left.

Sandoval’s contract is only for the remainder of this season. Sandoval coached Rayo Vallecano from 2010-12 and second-division side Sporting Gijon from 2012-14.

Sandoval’s first match will be on Sunday at Getafe.
