HESPERIA, Calif. (AP) - San Bernardino County authorities arrested a man who allegedly attacked three women and tried to snatch a little girl while covered in blood at Hesperia City Hall.

Cellphone video obtained by KCBS-TV (https://cbsloc.al/1bZtAAo) shows the man, blood dripping from his head, lurking in a doorway before running after the women and the child.

Twenty-four-year-old Jessica Corrales says the man smacked her and her family members, smearing them with his blood. When the man grabbed her niece, Corrales struck him repeatedly with a folding chair.

Investigators say minutes before the video was shot on Tuesday, Peralta was cracked in the head by skateboarder for kicking the skateboarder’s dog several times.

Thirty-year-old Reginald Peralta was arrested on suspicion of attempted kidnapping, assault and animal cruelty. It wasn’t immediately known if he has a lawyer.
