TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - A man wanted as a possible accomplice in the fatal shooting of a 35-year-old man in Tacoma has been arrested in California.

The News Tribune reports (https://is.gd/wOlt7h ) that David “Beasty” Turner was taken into custody in Crescent City, on the California coast near the Oregon border.

Turner is charged with second-degree murder in the April 15 death of Larnell Griffin, who was found dead in an apartment with a gunshot wound to his chest.

Police believe the shooter was Thomas Sterling Potts Jr., who has already pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder.

According to charging papers, Potts, Turner and an unidentified man went to the apartment over a disagreement about cell phones.
