DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - A Davenport man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges related to cameras installed in a girls restroom.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Friday that U.S. District Court Judge James Gritzner sentenced 30-year-old Ian Dishon David Isabel to the prison term.

Isabel pleaded guilty to production of child pornography in August 2014.

The case stems from a custodian’s discovery in April 2014 of a hidden camera in a girls restroom at Davenport’s Hayes Elementary, where Isabel worked as coordinator of an after-school program. Police later found more devices in the restroom.

Authorities seized items from Isabel’s home and a storage unit and an examination found over 100 images of Hayes students.

Isabel fled and was arrested at a state park in Illinois.
