PHOENIX (AP) - A Phoenix woman who fled from U.S. Border Patrol agents that led to a fatal rollover in Tucson last month now is in custody.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say 21-year-old Cindy L. McGonigle has been booked into a Phoenix jail on suspicion of first-degree murder, aggravated assault, criminal damage and flight from law enforcement.

Border Patrol agents stopped a van they suspected was involved in the transportation of people who are in the country illegally March 26 on U.S. 80 near Benson.

Agents say McGonigle sped off and started a pursuit that ended when she rolled the van on a freeway off-ramp in Tucson.

Five people including McGonigle were ejected from the vehicle. One died at the scene.

McGonigle was arrested after being released from a rehabilitation center.
