TUSKEGEE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a suspect in a series of attacks on women in their homes has been captured in Tuskegee.

Macon County Sheriff Andre Brunson tells WSFA-TV (https://bit.ly/1GLvxur ) the man was caught Thursday. His name was not immediately released, but Brunson said the man is from Tuskegee.

Brunson says authorities believe the man broke into homes and sexually assaulted four different women over the past two weeks. Two of the attacks were in Tuskegee and two were in Auburn.

Authorities released few details about the crimes because the investigation is ongoing. It wasn’t immediately clear how the man chose his victims or whether he knew them.

The man was being held on charges including robbery, kidnapping, sexual abuse, theft of property and burglary. Additional charges are possible.
