CINCINNATI (AP) - A record number of degrees from the University of Cincinnati will be awarded at the school’s spring commencement ceremonies.

The university says it will confer more than 6,400 degrees at ceremonies Friday and Saturday, breaking the school record of more than 6,300 degrees that was set last spring.

All the graduation ceremonies will be held at Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati. Master’s and doctoral degrees will be conferred on Friday, with undergraduates receiving their degrees at one of two ceremonies scheduled Saturday.

University of Cincinnati alumnus Kirk Perry will be the keynote speaker at both the morning and afternoon ceremonies for undergraduates on Saturday. Perry was named president of brand solutions at Google in 2013. He previously served as president of global family care at Procter & Gamble Co.
