SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Wofford has added Terriers’ Hall of Famer Dane Romero and ex-Clemson standout Brian Mance to its football staff.

Terriers coach Mike Ayers said Thursday that Romero will coach running backs and Mance will work with the cornerbacks. Also, Ayers said ShaDon Brown will coach the team’s safeties and serve as recruiting coordinator. Greg Gasparato will take over special teams for the Terriers.

Romero is 15th all-time at Wofford with 1,954 yards and fifth with 32 touchdowns. He was named to the Wofford Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014. Romero coached fullbacks at Brevard last season.

Mance played in the secondary at Clemson and is tied for third all-time at the school with 12 interceptions. He spent the past three seasons coaching defensive backs at North Greenville.
