CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A spring snowstorm caused slick travel conditions across much of eastern Wyoming over the weekend.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation advised no unnecessary travel in some areas, but no major highways were closed by the storm.

The National Weather Service reported up to 17 inches of snow fell in some areas.

Snowfall totals as of Sunday included 4 inches in Wheatland, 6 inches in Lusk, 3 inches in the Cheyenne area, 5 inches in the Laramie area, 8 inches at South Pass in Fremont County and around 6 inches in the Casper area.

The storm ended Sunday afternoon, giving way to more seasonable weather for the new week.
