TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police have identified a man shot and killed in what is believed to be a gang-related shooting.

Police say the victim shot early Saturday in a parking lot is 22-year-old Raymond Symonette.

According to investigators, Symonette and his girlfriend had arrived to an establishment together. The girlfriend went inside first.

The victim then got into an altercation with other people outside and gunfire was exchanged.

Sgt. Pete Dugan says the other people involved fled before police arrived but they believe the incident is connected to gang activity.

Dugan says Symonette was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

No arrests have been made.
