DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) - AAA Michigan says gas prices statewide have fallen by about 3 cents in the past week.

It’s the first such decline in four weeks. The Dearborn-based auto club says the average price per gallon of self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was $2.52 on Sunday. That’s about $1.18 less than a year ago.

AAA Michigan surveys daily fuel costs at 2,800 gas stations in the state. The club says the cheapest price was about $2.48 per gallon in the Flint Area, and the highest price was about $2.66 a gallon in the Traverse City area.
