WINONA, Minn. (AP) - Court documents say a 19-year-old Winona man was arrested after the smell of marijuana was detected coming from a package addressed to him at a post office.

A criminal complaint says a postal inspector recently contacted police to tell them there was a package at the Winona Post Office with a “strong odor of marijuana emanating from within.”

According to the complaint, police got a search warrant for the package and found marijuana wax, cocaine and Xanax inside. Court documents say the post office contacted the addressee of the package and police arrested him after he came and picked it up.

The Winona Daily News (https://bit.ly/1coPuwB ) reports the man faces drug charges including second-degree possession of a controlled substance.
