EAST WINDSOR, N.J. (AP) - An early-morning fire has displaced at least 20 residents from a New Jersey apartment complex.

It broke out just after 2 a.m. Monday in East Windsor.

WPVI-TV reports the American Red Cross has been asked to provide assistance to at least 20 residents who were displaced. Three people were hurt in the blaze.

Witnesses tell reporters that at least one person had to jump from a second-floor window to escape the fire.

Sixteen units were damaged.



Firefighters brought it under control by 5 a.m.
