JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - A trade group says the best-tasting water in Wyoming is located in Jackson Hole.

The Aspens Water and Sewer District took first place in a contest held by the Wyoming Association of Rural Water Systems at its annual technical conference and trade show.

The town of Ten Sleep, on the west slope of the Bighorn Mountains, had won the Wyoming contest the previous two years.

In February 2016 a representative from the Aspens Water and Sewer District will travel to Washington, D.C., for the national contest, called the Great American Water Taste Test.

The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports (https://bit.ly/1bIwpEW ) that other finalists from this year’s Wyoming contest included Saratoga, Star Valley Ranch and Grand Targhee Resort.
