EDMOND, Okla. (AP) - The state medical examiner has identified a man whose body was discovered last week inside a vehicle that had crashed in east Edmond.

The Oklahoman reports (https://bit.ly/1QD7sKF ) that the body was that of 38-year-old Colin Kennard.

Amy Elliott, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner, says Kennard died from multiple injuries suffered in the crash.

A worker was mowing on May 4 when he saw a car upside down in a creek.

An Edmond police report says that on May 3, Kennard’s mother reported her son had borrowed her car the night before to check on a friend in Shawnee and she had not seen him since.

She says Kennard called her about 9:30 p.m. and said he was on his way home, and that’s the last she heard from him.
