PHILADELPHIA (AP) - An aspiring Philadelphia filmmaker is dead after he was struck while riding his bicycle.

Police say 26-year—old Vijay Mohan was hit by a car shortly after midnight Sunday on Girard Avenue.

Police say Mohan sustained multiple fractures and head trauma.

The driver of the car was taken to a hospital complaining of neck pain. The person’s name was not released and it’s not clear whether charges will be filed.

Mohan helped people at Philly Community Access Media.

The executive director of the city’s public-access TV station, Gretjen Clausing, tells the Philadelphia Inquirer (https://bit.ly/1FZbLwR ) Mohan helped people with their independent films. Clausing says his death is going to be a big hole.
