PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police are investigating a pair of deadly shootings that left two men dead in Philadelphia over the weekend.

Authorities say the first shooting happened at about 2 p.m. Sunday in the Wynnefield section of the city. That’s where a 24-year-old man was shot once in the head. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

WPVI-TV reports the second slaying happened at about 9:20 p.m. Police say a man in his 20s was found on the front lawn of a home in the Lawncrest section of the city suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There’s no word on any suspects or a motive in the two killings.
