CECIL, Pa. (AP) - Police were investigating after a southwestern Pennsylvania county SWAT team was called to a residence only to find nobody inside.

Cecil Township police say a person who rented a home called them Sunday afternoon to report an intruder in the home when they returned. Police say the renter saw one person wearing a bandanna and reported hearing at least one other voice.

Township police called the Washington County SWAT team for help, but the team determined by 6 p.m. that there was nobody in the home. Police also found nothing missing from the residence.

Police say they’re pursuing leads, but nothing terribly promising.

The township is located about 15 miles southwest of Pittsburgh.
