HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - A Purvis woman charged with providing alcoholic drinks to six teenagers prior to a September wreck that killed three of the teens will likely have her trial postponed.

The Hattiesburg American (https://hatne.ws/1zRXvF1) reports Kristi Morris was arrested Dec. 17 after a fatal accident that killed 17-year-old Justin Kelly, 16-year-old Carrigan Arban and 16-year-old Reagan Woolbright.

Morris was scheduled to appear Tuesday before a judge, but her attorney said Thursday he filed a motion to have 13 misdemeanor charges dismissed to avoid duplicate trials.

Morris was charged with six counts of letting minors possess or consume alcoholic drinks on her property among other charges.

Greer will hear the motion Tuesday. If the motion is approved, Morris’ lawyer expects the trial to come before a judge sometime in the summer.
