PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - A Maine woman who was driving when her car crashed, killing her 16-year-old son and her boyfriend, is scheduled to enter a plea in the case.

Candice Tucker of Gorham was scheduled to appear in Cumberland County court on Monday.

The 35-year-old Tucker was indicted in December on two counts of manslaughter and operating under the influence of intoxicants.

Police said she was speeding and trying to pass another vehicle when she struck a tree in October in Bridgton. She pleaded not guilty last year.

She and her son, Branden Denis, and boyfriend, 35-year-old Eric Morey, had been visiting friends and family.
