CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The deadline for West Virginia lobbyists to file their lobbyist activity reports is nearing.

The West Virginia Ethics Commission says reports covering the period from January through April are due Friday.

Lobbyists must report all lobbying-related expenditures and activity for the period. Failure to file a report by the deadline will result in a $10 fine for each business day the report is late, up to a maximum of $250.
