MANSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - Officials say a Massachusetts town has accepted a donation to boost nonprofits from the Tiger Woods Foundation.

The Sun Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/1K3Ktb8 ) the $25,000 donation was allocated to a nonprofit fund in Mansfield. The grant will benefit the Mansfield Parks and Recreation Department, Keep Mansfield Beautiful, the Spring Brook Cemetery and the Mansfield Music and Arts Society.

The recreation department will put $615 toward a utility box for the tennis league’s ball machine and use $1,050 to renovate Memorial Park for summer camps.

Keep Mansfield Beautiful will use $2,500 put more trash barrels along busy streets.

The foundation runs the Deutsche Bank Championship. The tournament is held each Labor Day weekend at TPC Boston, just over the Mansfield line in Norton. It features the PGA Tour’s top 100 golfers.
