COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A teen accused of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault in a crash that killed two high school students last year will be arraigned Friday and tried as an adult.

The Gazette of Colorado Springs reports (https://bit.ly/1Evlian ) that a 4th judicial district court judge ruled Monday that 18-year-old Marshal Gregory will be tried as an adult for the single-vehicle Labor Day crash that killed 17-year-old Beau Begier and 18-year-old Ryan Pappas and injured a third teenager. Gregory was 17 at the time of the crash.

State Patrol says Gregory, from Parker, is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. All four teens were suspected of drinking alcohol, the report says.

Gregory’s attorney called Monday’s decision unfortunate. .
