ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - The city of Rochester wants creative types to get their mental wheels turning.

The assignment: Finding new uses for old bus shelters.

WHEC (https://bit.ly/1I5gLlm ) says the ideas so far include information kiosks, cafes or other small businesses.

The retro-chic structures are being repurposed because a new transit center opened in November.

The deadline for proposals is June 26. The winners will be announced July 31.
