ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Police are looking for the person who reportedly threw a dog out of a car window in Rochester.

Police say it happened Wednesday on Norway Plains Road. The vehicle was possibly a dark-colored Cadillac.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1QYYqcd ) that the dog - a female pit bull - has some scratches but seems to be OK. The dog is at the Rochester Police Department’s holding facility, under the care of veterinarian.

Anyone who knows the owner or has information about the crime is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department’s animal control officer at 603-330-7122. Authorities say a cash reward is being offering for information leading to an arrest.
