The Miami event is just one of dozens of protests in cities against the death of Freddie Gray. Gray died April 12 from spinal cord injuries. Six Baltimore police officers have been charged in his death.

The Miami Gardens event is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Organizers say they do not how many people might join in the South Florida protest.
