GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (AP) - Works by two iconic American artists - Andy Warhol and Winslow Homer - will be exhibited at the same time at an upstate New York art museum this summer.

Officials at The Hyde Collection in Glens Falls have announced that an exhibit titled “Homer’s America” will open on June 21 and run through Sept. 13. The artwork going on display is from the Hyde’ permanent collection, and will feature about two dozen Homer engravings, etchings and paintings that chronicle American life.

The museum located 45 miles north of Albany announced last fall that it would mount a Warhol exhibit featuring 51 drawings done by the pop artist between 1973 and 1987, the year he died. The Warhol exhibit also opens June 21 and runs through Sept. 27.
