OLD TRAP, N.C. (AP) - Deputies say a man wanted for killing his uncle at a Camden County home will be extradited back to North Carolina on a murder charge.

Camden County Sheriff Tony Perry said in a news release that 33-year-old James Ball was arrested Thursday in Canada by authorities who knew he was wanted on the murder charge.

The arrest came more than a week after deputies found Ball’s uncle William Call, shot to death in his home in the Old Trap area of Camden County.

Authorities have not discussed a motive or what led them to charge the nephew in his uncle’s death.

It wasn’t known if James Ball had a lawyer.
